Welcome to our brand new Pod Press website!
This is a place for people to visit and learn about riso printing, our services, and our community. Our commercial strand is all about print jobs and printing beautiful works for other people and championing the process of risograph. Proceeds from our printing services; individual donations from visitors and clients; and external funding from the wonderful William Grant Foundation allows us to serve our main reason for existing: Residents of Wester Hailes!
Our long term vision is for Wester Hailes residents have a means of production which is led by and for themselves - and to celebrate their breadth of diversity and experience through print and co-production.
What we are doing now to work towards this vision is giving friendly, accessible support, education, and facilities for print projects, which empower people in Wester Hailes to create and share their outputs with and alongside others – and to have this celebrated.
We have made a few different social media accounts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube, where we will start sharing what we do with you, and promoting the work of local artists and creators!
